THE DETAILS, WITHOUT THE CLUTTER

Private by construction.

This PNG to ICO converter reads your selected files with browser APIs. Conversion and ZIP packaging happen on your device. There are no upload endpoints, analytics, external fonts, or conversion services. Reloading clears the session.

01

One file. Several sizes.

Choose 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128 or 256 pixels. The default selection is 16, 32 and 48. Each ICO contains exactly the sizes you select, with PNG-encoded image entries for Windows Vista and later.

02

Keep the edges honest.

PNG, JPG, WebP and self-contained SVG are accepted. Transparency is preserved when present. Non-square images get transparent padding by default; stretching is an explicit option. Nothing is cropped.

03

Small, sensible limits.

Up to 30 images per selection, 20 MB per file and 40 million decoded pixels per image. Large images may exceed your browser's memory. SVG scripts, foreign content, external resources and text requiring fonts are rejected. No daily quota is imposed by this page.

04

Three ways to take it.

Download each multi-size ICO, select a single-size ICO, or download all generated ICOs in one ZIP. Download feedback confirms the file was prepared; your browser controls where it is saved.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A few things worth knowing.

How do I change PNG to ICO?

Choose an image, select the icon sizes, then press Convert to ICO. Download your icon from its preview card.

Can I convert a PNG file to ICO without uploading it?

Yes. This page has no network conversion step. It continues to work after loading even when your browser is offline.

How do I convert a PNG file to an icon for Windows?

Download the ICO, then choose it in the Windows shortcut or folder icon settings. The format uses PNG image entries intended for Windows Vista and later. Very old software may require a different ICO encoding.
